To showcase Philips’ expertise by examining technology’s potential to address some of the world’s biggest healthcare challenges.

The solution

A paper based on qualitative surveys and interviews with healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.

The outcome

A ground-breaking report – the Future Health Index – that firmly established Philips as a prominent voice on future healthcare policy. The Index has since become an annual property, and has served as the basis for an ongoing series of events, and a website that has become the go-to portal globally for dialogue on the future of healthcare. In 2016, it won World’s Best Healthcare PR Campaign in the prestigious ICCO Global Awards.

What we did

We were commissioned to produce a report examining the role technology could play in addressing some of the world’s biggest healthcare challenges, and which was based on quantitative surveys and interviews with healthcare professionals and patients around the globe.

To that end, we worked with Philips’ research, public relations and industry partners to analyse research data, zero in on key findings and develop these into core themes and insights.

We also developed a clear structure for the paper and a defined production process to ensure it could be delivered to tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

The project culminated in us drafting and refining a major report that met Philips’ goal of serving as a call to action for policymakers and healthcare professionals at both the national and global levels, then going on to conceptualise and produce subsequent editions of the report for several years running.
